The laboratory is located at Bulangililo Water Treatment Plant in Bulangililo Township Kitwe. It is open to external clients from 08:00 hrs to 16:00hrs, Monday to Friday during working days.
The laboratory provides water and waste water analysis services to external clients, ranging from industries, residential (boreholes) and academic institutions at a reasonable fee. The laboratory is able to conduct various analysis ranging from physical, chemical and bacteriological parameters in water and waste water samples.
The laboratory is well equipped with modern equipment and qualified personnel in the water business. The core business of the Company being water related gives us an edge over other laboratories. Clients are assured of the best and reliable service all through from sampling, sample reception, laboratory analysis and results communication.
Clients can get in touch with the laboratory at the above location and discuss their water and wastewater analysis needs with the laboratory personnel. A quotation for the service requested for will then be issued and payment can then be made at any Nkana Water Supply and Sanitation Company customer service centre.
Laboratory personnel will visit the client’s location for sampling (if requested) or the clients can bring the sample to the laboratory.
Laboratory analysis will then be conducted and a laboratory report issued to the client upon confirmation of payment having been made.
